Thoughtful portraits with personality and atmosphere.
For me, portrait photography isn’t about perfection or heavy retouching. It’s about expression, atmosphere and creating images that actually feel like the person in them.
Some portraits are quiet and understated. Others are more dramatic, cinematic or stylised. I enjoy working across various approaches depending on the person and the mood we’re creating.
The common thread is that the images should still feel grounded and believable rather than overworked or artificial.
Portraits for any purpose
Some people book portraits for themselves. Others need images for creative work, business, dating profiles, acting, music or personal projects.
Whatever the reason, the aim is always to create photographs with personality and a strong sense of identity.
Everyone is welcome
Portrait photography shouldn’t feel limited to a particular age, personality or level of confidence in front of the camera.
My clients include performers, business owners, musicians, parents, people who love being photographed and people who normally avoid cameras altogether.
Most leave saying the experience felt far easier and more relaxed than they expected, which is how it should be.
